Finanvial Development

The Financial Development Officer is in charge of the Financial Development Department. The Financial Development Officer is responsible for the acquisition and solicitation of funds (approximately $20,000 a year) in order to cover the costs of participating in FIRST (registration, robot construction, travel/lodging, marketing, and event planning) through student fundraisers. In addition to sending donation letters and scheduling presentations with individual donors, corporations, universities, and small businesses, the Financial Development Officer is also responsible for following up with potential donors and sending thank you letters and updates. The Financial Development Officer provides team with bi-monthly updates and serves as liaison between the team and the Preuss School administration.
