Paul Tran was one of the founders of EightTwelve, the exclusive fashion line presented by the Midnight Mechanics. EightTwelve is a community initiative whose mission is to spread the message of FIRST through integrating its values with pop culture. As Paul puts it, "EightTwelve is the innovative child of Dean Kamen and Tyra Banks." Although he is only a junior at Preuss, Paul has been a Midnight Mechanic for almost five years - with his first year on the team (as a seventh grader) spent shadowing the high school students and picking gum off from underneath the tables. With one more year to go, Paul aspires to attend Pomona College where he intends on majoring in Biochemistry and pursue an MD/PhD.
